Our buddy Eddie Zammit from T-World Magazine has shared with us many tales of his adventures he has experienced over the time of running the magazine. This one is surely one of the coolest by far.
Now if you keep up with the blog you will know that T-World is holding an exhibition on Friday through till Sunday, now what you may or may not have known is that Eddie got to attend the Sesame Street Workshop in New York.
On Sesame Street’s 40th birthday, in a world first, T and Sesame Street have brought together eight Sesame Street muppets with eight leading designers from all over the globe. The result puts the ‘street’ back in Sesame Street.

FLIP have just released a new line of decks consisting of their team riders featured in a celebrity death match (clay mation) style graphic. Pretty fuckin dope if you ask us… not only do FLIP boards rip it and have done so for years. Their team just keeps getting better and better, with the good ol boys still in tact. Keep your eyes peeled for these suckers!
The Munny from Kidrobot is one of the most popular of the DIY range from the brand, with thousands of artists already putting their artistic touches on them. Style and Direction is very diverse but heres one Artist that we just couldnt look past……originality is key homies!!
Light artist, Marcus Tremonto owner of TRUELUCE studios N.Y.C, futurizes MUNNY with a series of illuminated 7-inch figures he calls Lightbotz. A selection of these super-limited customs are now available at Kidrobot NY and online at kidrobot.com!

ALMOST skateboards have teamed up with AMOS for this new pro model series of boards. AMOS is usually known for their popular line of vinyl toys and the likes, however this time round they have characterized the ALMOST team members with a take on their “in-crowd” series of figures. They have certainly hit the spot with these graphics and colour choices. Again, the tough decision would be whether to ride em or hang them on ya wall. Either way keep an eye out for them as they should be landing at ALMOST stockists in the coming weeks.
The CARHARTT x SEBASTIAN DENZ 3D Skateboarding box set is a definite must have for me! It features a Skate Deck and a book which funnily enough are both in 3D. Yeah why not jump on the craze… I mean every movie now-a-days is being released this way, so why not bring it to the world of skate photography.
The box set also comes with a pair of… wait for it… 3D glasses, to get full enjoyment out of the complete pack.
It took Sebastian Denz just over 3 years and 20 members of the Carhartt skate team to put the book together. The graphic on the deck has also been designed by artist Stefan Marx. (which could kinda make this a 3 way collabo).
Only 25 of the box set are due to be sold, so I will have to try my luck with this one. Don’t Sleep!
Supra have just released their latest incarnation of Chad Muskas’ pro model kicks. The Baby Skytops! These are not only super cool due to their pint sized detail and total resemblence to their full grown version. But also, because our newest TAKEN family member, Alexis (Dales Daughter) would look the shit at day care in these bad mofos.
They are available in the original Skytop release colours, which are Black Croc, Silver+Gold and White.
As it is a sure sign of the times and the industry now expanding, I’m sure it wont be long before we see to many more miniature pro models being released.
If you havn’t already heard, SKATE 3 is currently in the final stages of production. Yee-uh! It is set to drop in May 2010, and is sounding pretty dope so far. With an all new city to shred and a growing list of new additions to the pro line up of characters. Josh Kalis, Andrew Reynolds, Lizard King, Benny Fairfax and Joey Brezinski to name a few.
Now the game is set up as more of team battle story as opposed to independent rolling this time (although I would say/hope this is still going to be possible). Where you and your crew of riders take on other teams to take over turf etc.
